Born in the small town of Ore City, Texas, BeJaxx discovered early that music was both a sanctuary and a calling, developing his foundational vocal power through church choirs and family harmonies. Seeking to build a sustainable career on his own terms, he relocated to Minneapolis to attend the University of Minnesota, actively performing in the Twin Cities' most prominent musical theatre companies. He later refined his artistry at the Berklee College of Music, studying Voice, Songwriting, and Music Business. His tenure at Berklee culminated in his selection as a lead vocalist for the institution's Commencement Concert, establishing his reputation as a commanding, technically grounded vocalist.
Now based in Nashville, BeJaxx brings a formidable record of live performance to his craft, having commanded audiences of up to 25,000 and sung on stage with Dolly Parton. Influenced by the emotional depth of vocalists like Etta James and Adele, his sound fuses soul with a raw, lived-in intensity that remains distinctly his own. Driven by a commitment to authentic storytelling over fleeting industry trends, BeJaxx crafts music grounded in vocal control, vulnerability, and direct human connection.
